Services, programs & training

Fulfilling a dream formed since taking residence at Angel Ridge Ranch in 2011, Second Chance Humane Society expanded its community outreach services to include an animal-assisted therapy program in 2018.

Through a collaboration with nonprofit equine-assisted therapeutic horsemanship programs, hosted at our animal shelter arena in Ridgway, we bring forth the power of human-animal bond in additional meaningful ways.

We will be integrating this program with new opportunities for community members to connect more deeply with our shelter dogs and cats too.

Details of our 2020 programming coming soon...
