Wine & Whiskers is right around the corner!
Second Chance Humane Society is hosting the 5th Annual Annual Wine and Whiskers Carnival on Saturday, March 10th at the Ouray County 4H Event Center in Ridgway. This Mardi-Gras themed evening includes a live and silent auction stocked with over 300 items and the sizzling and dazzling Fashion Cabaret! The Fashion Cabaret combines fashion, dance, and music for a high energy roof-raising night and is followed by dancing to the eclectic tunes of DJ Antone.
The evening starts at 5:30 PM with complimentary wine and beer for the first hour. The chef samplers from local chefs throughout San Miguel and Ouray Counties (which in the past included some New Orleans favorites such as crawfish, gumbo, and decadent bread pudding with bourbon sauce) will be complimented by the on-site cooking of Chef Alix Fremgen who has been responsible for this being the best “Foodie” event of the year for the past four years.
