We can't tell you how many times we've heard adopters say that 'shelter pets are the best'. Unfortunately it never seems like enough to break the perception that the pets that wind up in shelters are rejects in some form or fashion. Like Mona for instance. Sure, she's 90% blind due to accelerated Pannus and in need of a seeing eye person. But, she's got the makings of one of those 'best pets ever' that we so often hear of. How so?
