Get ready for another unique and energizing evening to benefit the region’s homeless pets in need!  Second Chance Humane Society is hosting the 6th Annual Wine and Whiskers Weekend, and to accommodate the quickly growing interest in the event, it is now a two night affair.

After only 5 years of growing our fabulous fundraiser - Wine & Whiskers Carnival - we have outgrown our venue!  The event has gained such popularity that we are now offering it for two evenings, both at the 4H Event Center in Ridgway, to make sure all our guests get a seat.

Mistletoe, warm woolen mittens, the jingling of bells, holiday cheer, these are a few of my favorite things!  And to celebrate I am inviting you to a very fun and functional Second Chance Humane Society fundraiser – Santa Paws!  This event serves a multitude of purposes that benefit animals and humans alike and Paws is coming to Telluride on Noel Night!

Adoption – this is the foremost concern on the mind of all the animals here at Second Chance Humane Society and so Second Chance likes to provide ample opportunities for that to happen.  As the weather cools and days become shorter adoptions typically decrease so we like to hold some additional opportunities for potential adopters to meet adoptable pets.  Thus, I would like to announce some upcoming opportunities…
