Second Chance relies heavily on both contributions and on volunteers to sustain its life-saving programs. After all, running a humane society is a tough business. In addition to sheltering animals that come to us, we provide resources such as spay/neuter assistance and educational resources that must be maintained in order to prevent the birth of unwanted litters that would otherwise end up in area shelters.
